Default motor mounts

Anybody got any preference in how to mount the motor mounts with eng out of car? What I am getting at is this. Is it easier to install the motor mounts on the block then drop in the eng in and tighten up the remaining bolts, or the other way around. the back mount under the turbo looks like a PITA to do either way.

I left the motor mounts in the car and left the brackets on the motor and then lined the studs on the mounts up with the bracket holes as I lowered the motor. Except for the timing belt end mount that I bolted to the motor first (the first motor I didn't do it this way and it was a pain)

Thanks I changed out all my mounts with the eng out, I guess I will have to have help lowering the eng, so not to mess up the bolt threads.

It's easier to have help if for nothing else than to watch as you're lowering. Are you using a block and tackle and the horses to lower it?

Now that is an idea! With my luck the horse would spoke, and drag the eng down the gravel drive out onto the main road.
