Hi,
My 850 stalled on me last week so I looked in the manual and changed the fuel filter as per its recommendation. However i just had the same problem. It stalled on me again. Can someone give me some advice on what to do.

Look on the end of the head on the left side of the car. There is a sensor mounted in the end of the head. Called a Cam sensor. follow wire and look at the white part of the plug. They get soft and fall apart.

It could also be a bad fuel pump relay.

 

Can it be an ignition problem. A mechanic told me it could the module or the crank sensor or something of that nature.

It could be. It could also be a bad fuel pump relay,Fuel pump,Mass flow sensor,Tps sensor, ETC.

 

I took the car to AAmaco to do a complete diognostic test. The found no errors and it showed up no codes. The transmission fluid was burnt and he said it could be that the soliniod is damaged so I would have to rebuild the transmission or get a new one. What is the best way to go, rebuild or buy a used one from the junk yard or somewhere. Im in Brooklyn NY so if anyone knows where to find one.

Best bet would be to have ot rebuilt.
