Just bought a 1988 740 - 2nd day I had it. Had the oil changed and put fuel injection cleaner in the gas tank, took it to the car wash and washed it. 15 minutes later the car stalled. Oil light went on and that was it. Can't start it after 2 hours! Can anyone help. My friend said it's not getting any spark from the plugs.

 

The 2 things to check first are the engine speed sensor at the back of the engine and the White fuel pump relay in the back of the fuse panel. The relay looks like a double wide relay.
