Default My heat blower smells bad

When I turn on my heat (probably a/c too) it smells bad. Like a musty, locker room smell. Just got the car, so I have no idea what could be contributing to it.

PLEASE tell me how to fix this!! I know there is that filter under the hood, but it happens even on recirc mode. Is that filter still in the loop then?

Gotta get rid of it.

You probably have a little mold or something growing on the evap core. There are a few products out there that you spray in the air inlet to clean and freshen your system, I think Fridgifresh is one of them.

With recirc mode on the filter is not in the loop.

Fridgifresh is pretty good to use.

Check the pollen filter as well.

Put the switch on normal and spray in by the passenger side wiper and it should suck it in.
