Default ...name that symptom!

Under heavy boost at freeway speeds, ( when i go WOT from cruising ) Its like i hit boost... TWICE ! I hit the throttle, it downshifts and hits a good amount of boost quickly. THEN, about 5k or so, its has a noticeable and audible leap in power, like it hit boost again... its odd.

At first i thought it was the swelling of the stock rubber turbo hoses, but now that my RIP is installed ( IPD silicon couplers ect ) its still the same feeling. My other thought was that my WGA is going bad. ( i had to crank the WGA rod quite a bit to get up to 15-16 psi) Any guesses?

If you are boosting over 15.5 you might be hitting fuel cutoff unless IPD removed it from the ECU.

I just bought the IPD ECU and when talking to them on the phone they say they remove the fuel cut off. That is an indicator of a modified ECU by them, if it cuts off...its not theirs.
Anyway, since installation I notice the same thing. Boost then all of a sudden...more boost. I hear a click from the engine compartment when it happens but I have only had it for two days so i dont know much more than that. So, my guess is the IPD ECU.
