need help i made a down pipe and put the new down pipe on now the car wont start will not having the o2 sensor hooked up make the car not start and when i turn the car off my idle air control valve stays on is that normal. also i found a big slit in the intercooler hose off the throttle body will that make the car not start i got some hose tape to cover the slit so can any 1 help me thanx

 

if you have a big enough air leak between the MAF and the throttle body it wont start. Check and double check all your hoses then check them again. If you did nothing other than changing the downpipe there is not reason it should not start.
Your car should start without O2 sensors plugged in.

 

yea all i did was change downpipe. i drove car 5 feet 2 days ago for like 10 sec than shut off than last nite it wouldnt start it would try but wouldnt catch

 

the car was flooded so i pulled plugs dried them off put a lil oil in each cylinder and held gas down for 30 sec than cranked and started right up thanx every 1
