Default need help with my 850.... D.O.A.

OK guys I am very grateful to you guys as you have helped me before. 1995 850 wagon turbo. tons of ipd performance parts including intake, all silicone hoses within last 5 thousand miles. new ipd race wires and bosch platinum plugs and bosch cap and rotor 500 miles ago. car had a miss in higher rpms and you guys pointed me in the direction of new bugicord wires. so I invested in the IPD race wires and it made a huge difference. I was still getting a bit of stutter about 4500 rpm but I just chalkled it up to old age.

NOW I was driving last week and it fell on its face at 20 mph and I limped it home. now when I start it it pours raw gas smell out the exhaust pipe and barely idles and only for a few seconds maybe a minute. I changed the tps thinking that was it.

codes that I got today

p0302 cylinder 2 misfire
p0440 evap emission system
p1310 misfire from at least 1 cylinder- twc damage
p0130 mass or volume air flow circuit high input
p0123 throttle position sensor a circuit high input
p0120 throttle position sensor a circuit

THANKS IN ADVANCE VOLVO GURUS!!!

120? That's way low. Are you sure you got it right? I can't imagine it running at all with numbers like that. Maybe if you had just one bad cylinder, but not all 5.

Was the Compression checked after the miss fires? My loss of power and miss fires a year ago turned out to be a burned exhaust valve. Compression in the bad hole was almost zero. After redoing the cylinder head, I was back in business. Hopefully your issue is something else.

I hate to say this, but are you sure that's right? 220 seems high, even for a non-turbo. I may be wrong, but isn't the turbo supposed to have compression in the 160-180 range?

installed new MAF, did no good. it runs just as bad and when i say runs that is a bit of a stretch. with the MAF unplugged the car runs and will move but still runs really rough. with it plugged in while the car is running it dies within 30 seconds...

Take all of your intake hoses off and check them for tears at the clap seams. Then put them back on so you are sure none are loose. 30 Minute job.

Could you possibly have a bad intake manifold gasket? Just experienced that issue and it was running incredibly rough (when it ran) Started hard and smelled of raw gas

He fixed it and posted the fix on Matt's site. He had a split intake hose or something like that on his reverse turbo piping.

If you start a thread looking for help you should be courteous enough to post the solution so it benefits others instead of leaving it hanging.

IMHO you should get a 30 day ban for texting while driving. You're not paying attention to driving or texting as my head hurts trying to find the 120 then 220 referred to in the thread as they likely were edited out since you can't hit the right keys while driving.

I don't mind people texting while driving as long as they are in another state.
