Hi there. I am in New Zealand, and just baught my 850 Turbo today!! May I just say... What an awesome car!!! My love with Volvo's started 11 years ago, when as a student in South Africa,I baught a Volvo 122S Amazon, B18B, 1966. To this day I am sad that I ever sold it...

Anyway, to get to my questions. My speedo works fine, just the odometer doesnt work? Any ideas? Also my interior fan doesnt go. The aircon light just flashes. I checked all the fuses and all are fine. I am a diesel mechanic, and know my way around cars too. Any help would be great.

The odometer gear has a broken tooth. There are several threads on odometer repair.

Regarding the aircon, blinking AC lights means that there are error codes stored inside the aircon computer memory. The non working aircon fan is probably a bad blower motor and/or blower resistor.
