Exclamation New to Volvo's. It won't run!

So, I bought a 1993 Volvo glt a few days ago and there's an issue with it. The car will start (Turn over) Then die right away. And It will do it over and over. Some days you can go out there and start it with no issues but, that's few and far in between.

When it was running the issue was that it would stall at a stop or, low RPM. It was an intermittent issue for a few weeks with the previous owner until she finally gave up and parked it. So naturally I went and did some research and dug a few things up.
PCV system clogged or un-serviced? I wouldn't think this would cause a stall/no start but I could also be wrong.
Fuel pump/Filter. These cars come with Bosch pumps(Which you can't hear) So I have no idea if it works or not. My relays are good though!
MAF. The mass airflow looks good. I unplugged while I got it to idle and it didn't change anything. What would that indicate?

My Iacv works just fine. I can hear it going when you turn the key indicating that the plate inside it can move freely. I've checked all my vacuum hoses and they seem to be fine; no leaks at all.

What could be happening that would make the car turn on for literally two seconds then shut off? Any and all help is very much appreciated. Or if someone could direct me to a definite answer. Because everything on you tube seems to be hit and miss with these cars. You can also email me at: Burginclayton@gmail.com

Many thanks. The very confused 850 owner.

when you say your relays are good, did you try jumpering or replacing the fuel pump relay (a relay can have corroded contacts and pass some voltage but not enough current to sustain the pump). Have you measured your fuel pressure at the rail? should be in the 40+ PSI range... Any codes?

IF you unplugged the MAF and there was no change, it is most likely bad. Do you have a check engine light on? If so, please get the codes read and report bacck what they are. That will help troubleshoot the issues you are having. BTW....Welcome to the forum!

Since you have a 93, you can read codes on your own...

You need to get a fuel pressure gauge on the fuel rail and see whats going on.
