What's that in people years, miles? Also, do you put your foot in it often?

You're supposed to do plugs every 15k miles.

Probably 15k would be my guess. Foot in it? Whenever there is not a car in front of me. Yes, I am pretty hard on them. I have some iridiums laying around so I gapped them and put them in. The pop is gone so we will see how long they last.

Well, new radiator in this weekend. Thought I had a leaky CV boot that was giving me all of the grease on the wheel....nope.

Grease was coming out of the hub, down the axle, and onto the wheel. Sweet. So, luckily, my parents said they would buy me those. So, two new hubs. Also played with the front sway bar again. Took the brackets and bushings out, put grease zerks in the brackets and bushing and bought a grease gun with marine grease, and then put washers underneath the brackets to free them up a bit....that didn't help the clunking. So, kind of at square one with the clunking. Pretty sure it's not the sway bar. I think I blew my strut mounts again. I don't know what else to check, seriously at a loss.

Anyways, re-did the inlet to the catch can:

Copper tube from the box to out of the manifold, and then a single hose from there to the can. Looks a lot cleaner.

And what my headlight looked like (thanks again to Owen for getting me a new headlight so fast. )

Japan sticker from Just Stance. All proceeds went to Japan

So all in all this weekend was new radiator, wheel hubs, re-did catch can, new spark plugs, and new style dip stick and tube so that it actually seals.

Now I just have to figure out this ****ing clunk.

Check your exhaust for your clunks. What radiator did you end up doing?

It's coming from the front wheel wells. I think I might have blown my spring/strut mounts again. Not sure. If I did, I have to see if I'm putting them in wrong or something. Maybe I need camber bolts or something.

Friday night for a couple hours and then about six hours Saturday morning. I've taken the car apart so many times that it's a cake walk. Intake manifold off in about a half hour.

New catch can design. I was getting this in my intake pipe:

Thought it was bad oil seals in the turbo, but I checked the turbine shaft and the turbo has ZERO play in it. So I cam to the conclusion that the catch can is just doing a **** poor job at collecting blow by. Catch can inlets are supposed to be below the outlet, so the vapors have to enter the can, and then go up to exit the can. As you can see in mine, the inlet and outlet are RIGHT next to each other, **** was going in and coming right back out. So this is what I did:

So far so good. Give it some time and see how much oil I have in my intercooler piping.

Also am officially leak free. I thought the new radiator was leaking, just a poorly placed hose clamp. And so far it looks like the new axle is actually sealing. keeping my fingers crossed. Now I just have to deal with this clunk and ****ing abs/tracs light. It never ends.

Don't get me wrong, I love buying new parts too, but when you've dumped what I have into this ****ing car and it still clunks, you would be sick of buying new parts too.

Well, after having to replace my ABS Pressure Regulator, and then attempting to bleed the brakes, only to find the rear caliper bleed screws would in spin in place and not unscrew, not allowing me to bleed my brakes, got all new calipers. Also decided to do 302s at the same time.

painted rear rotor hats (my gf wanted to help, so I let her sand and paint the hats)

Going to my parents next weekend who just got a new SLR, will take more pictures. Also have something going on, has to do with the roof. Super excited, have wanted one for a couple years and never could afford it. Rhymes with dewlee.

FCP. 302 ATE rotors and the new brackets you need for the calipers. Can't wait to actually use them. Unfortunately the car is still up on jackstands because the rear left hard brake line stripped at the caliper, so my dad is picking up the caliper and line on Monday and making a new hard line for me and the new caliper. My brakes should be soooo much better now with new calipers on all four corner and finally some good rotors and pads in front. No more Duralast ****. lol

That was my thought. I figured if I'm going in there to do all that, i'm going to do it right away. Simply because at this point, I really want to be under my car as little as possible. Hopefully this will be it for a while. knock on wooood.

New brake line in and I started to bend it. Have to put it in the car to get the final bends.

Ahh, yes . . . brake lines. So much fun to repair! At first I thought it should be easy to add a new end, but once I got knee-deep into it, I thought I should have replaced the whole line.
