my fan makes this really annoying squeel like something's caught in it. It only happens at speed 1 and 2 and by 3 and 4, the fan seems to be spinning at too high a speed to make the noise anymore. I'm thinking it's something in the blower motor, but I'm not sure. has anyone else experienced this before? thanks!

 

Hi, that happened to me. All you have todo is clean the blower, it must be dirty. Open the hood and right in front of the windshiel there is a black cover which you have to take out with some torxs (dont remember the size), but you have to take off the wipers first. Then you will see the blower on the passenger side. Mine doesnt have a filter there but I have read there might be one (not sure). just take a look down to the blower and see if there is something stuck there. This way is easier than going by the console... Sorry for the bad English. Hope it helps. There might be other posts about it. Good luck.
