odometer stopped working what can I do to fix this?

Help, my odometer stopped turning. I really need to get this fixed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

it's a 1995 volvo 850 GLT

Yea I just found it right now. OMG I'll never be able to pull that off. Any other alternatives?

Broken odometer gear. It shouldn't be that hard to replace.

You could buy an entire dashassembly off ebay, etc. I think changing out the gear would be a lot simpler.

I'm the one who posted those directions. I'm not a mechanic and I did it myself. It's not near as bad as it sounds. Just pay attention to what I said to look out for. Mine is working fine after about two months.

Hey guys thanks for the input. You've given me the confiedence to attept the repair myself!!!

Next problem.... Front passenger wheel bearing needs replacement. Any DIY on that fix?
