My 850 T5 began spewing oil from the oil cooler line in the radiator this morning. It was to a point of where the oil pressure light came on. We filled it up with oil again and brought it to the mechanic. He said he added about 3 quarts. Needless to say it was pretty freaky. The engine doesn't seem to make any odd noises and runs smooth as always so I assume that it wasn't hurt by this.

After this incident, the CEL came on with codes P0440 and P0172. Any ideas on what could have caused these codes? This is actually the first time in 6 years of ownership that this car has thrown a CEL.
