Oil drain plug size?

Oil drain plug size?
I've got a slightly leaky RMS and just top off the oil every month or so. I put 1/2 quart too much oil this time and instead of doing a complete oil change, wanted to just drain the oil down, but I've never done this.
What's the size of the oil plug? Anyone know off the top of their head? I'd hate to jack up my car, not have the correct size, and have to lower it and put all my stuff away just because I didn't have the right size socket. A set of tools are on the xmas list though !
Anything else I should know? Do I need to buy a new plug instead? Gasket? etc.? Or just take it off, and put it on and torque it to 26 ft-lbs?

RE: Oil drain plug size?
850's are really easy to change the oil on. Shouldn't take more than 15 minutes to do it yourself even the frist time. Mainly because the oil filter is so easy to get to. I always put a low profile pan under the car, jack it up, put jack stands under it, get under take the drain plug out, take filter off, take jack stands out, lower the car onto the pan, let it drain that way for a while, jack it back up, put the jack stands back under it, putdrain plug in, put filter on, take jack stands out, lower car and file er up.Alwaystake drain plug out and then remove the oil filter because the Volvo filters have a realease valve.
