I'm probably starting something but in looking at IPD and FCP I can find Mann oil filters and Volvo oil filters. Is there any difference and is there a preference? I use Mann on my other car.

 

I am almost certain that the Mann filters are simply branded as Volvo oil filters.

Mann makes the Volvo filters, and they paint Volvo on them instead of the Mann part #.

I bought a 10 pack from FCP and just installed the first one. Looking forward to installing the last one so I can order 10 more! By the time I get there, that means I'll have enjoyed my 855R for 50k!

 

I kind of figured they were the same but best to ask. I'll order some and some spark plugs as well.
