Bump !
Just replaced bulbs in my radio SC-815. Easy job to do, used Radio shack micro lamp #7219. There is no need for soldering, wires wrap around sockets. To remove old bulb from socket I used nail clippers to cut its wires and bulb come right out.
$ 4.5 for 6 bulbs (need 5), 30 minutes

I did not see any deference, I reused old blue condoms.
Also today fixed AC control light. Used #73 light bulb from Checker auto parts. It isn't perfect fit and needs to be soldered. In a process piece of socket broke off but I made it work. After all this trouble with socket I found that this BMW P/N 62111391260 bulb is direct replacement so ordered 3 of those

Why would you go to BMW instead of Volvo? Just wondering. Doesn't really matter to me bacause my Volvo stealer also deals with BMW's.

Not online, I could not find Volvo bulb but was told that is same bulb( BMW P/N 62111391260 ) Dealership is on the other side of the town (a 30 min drive one way) and they charge arm and leg for the bulbs.
Maybe I didn't put enough effort into research but it is just bulb... LOL
