I am fixing my 850 GLT and my radiocasette player asks for code or pin or whatever we call that number. Can enybody make me a favour and tell me the number for it ? I heard dealers like to charge for that...

If you don't have your code number written down with your owners manual, you'll have to go to the dealership with the VIN.

 

That is the only way I know also. I bought my '96 Wagon a year and half ago and the radio wasn't working at the time. The local dealership in Oregon didn't charge for this service at all. Please once they give it to you, write it down as you will need it again sometime when you or a repair shop do repairs.
