Need help. I cleaned out my PNP switch in my 1993 volvo 850 and now the car will not even turn over. Any suggestions would be appreciated

 

Check the connection again - this perhaps some where you ignored.

 

cleaned? is this the one on the side of the trans. correct?

 

Cleaned? I would just replace. Sometimes it's not the connection but the internal circuit boar that might be going bad. Some things you can clean (electronics), but with the PnP I would just replace. I had mine done about a month ago on my 850.

 

Thanks. After talking with a mechanic i am going to replace the pnp switch-wont turn over cause it doesnt think it is in park, ready to go back to my old 66 chevy. Does anyone know where to get a pnp switch. On back order here and could take up to 2 months. Im in Il
