I've taken my standard tranny 850 sedan to two different mechanics and haven't gotten anywhere so maybe someone here will know what I'm talking about.

I keep hearing a single, loud pop noise coming from the front end whenever I take my foot off the gas pedal... It doesn't start happening right away but after driving for 15-20 minutes and doing a lot of stop and go city driving it starts happening. It gets louder and more frequent the longer the drive. Anyone know what this noise is? It's been getting worse over the last month or two.
