Default Possible Battery/Ignition Problem

Hello,

I have a 95 Volvo 850 glt that might have a battery and/or ignition problem. Twice I've gone to start it and it's completely dead. After a jump it works fine, so I assumed it was a battery problem. I went to a battery place, and they said the battery and alternator were fine and that it could be a bad connection or ignition problem. My ignition already has other problems, like when I turn on the car I have to tilt the key back a little bit for the lights and turn signals to work.

Does anyone have any advice on what the problem is and how much it would cost to fix? I'm in Chicago if anyone in the area thinks they could fix it.

Thanks!

To fix your key tilt problem you need this . Was batery dead and recharged after jumpig it or there was power but starter didn't kick? Light in the glove box is known to drain batery.

+1, if the battery was completely died, then there is a short or a light on that is draining the battery. If the battery had a good charge but the starter did not fire, then the start is more then likely bad.
