I recently replaced my AM/FM/CD player with an aftermarket model (Pioneer) in order to have a front USB input for my iPod. I wired the new plug matching all the colors (green to green, etc.). The only wire coming from the bundle I didn't connect was the orange one as it was not previously connected. Everything works fine but my power antenna won't go up or down. I checked the fuse and it is fine. Does anyone know what I might have done wrong (e.g. which wire needs to be connected where?) Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Forgot to mention I have a 1995 Volvo 850 Turbo

 

The wire from the aftermarket raio should have a blue or blue/white wire that feeds the antenna.
I forget what the color is for the car.

 

I already connected both the blue and blue and white wires from the radio to the same colors coming from the car.

 

But is that where they are supposed to go on the car?
That's why I always buy the harness that plug into the factory plug.
It makes life 100% easier.

 

Pull the access panel for the power antenna in the trunk, and look at which color wires go to the antenna motor. Like Tech said, just because you connected the same color wires to each other doesn't mean that is where they are supposed to go
