Default Power Stage Removal

I know this has probably been discussed, but I can't find it. Does anyone have instructions for removing the power stage for the ECC? I was able to remove one today at the scrap yard but not without damage that I want to avoid on my car. Thanks for the help

What are you having a problem with?

  1. Three #25 torx screws to pull the panel under the glovebox.
  2. Can't remember, may have to pull the glovebox.
  3. Three 13mm nuts to pull knee bolster.
  4. one (two at most) torx screws from pwr stage and it slides out.

the part that gave me trouble was actually pulling the power stage out because of all the wires are in the way and also how to get to the passenger side bolts for the bolster without taking out the dash

ok figured the bolster out but now I'm stuck. there is a plastic brace for wires on my car that weren't on the other. held in by torx that i can't get because i don't have a ratchet to get them and can't get them with a normal screwdriver. I'm so fed up with this car right now!
