i as driving tody and my radio was acting funny and then as i was driving i thought i saw sparks but i definatly saw black smoke from the radio and then all the sound stopped but the power remained on to it. Does anyone know if this is just a fuse in the radio or maybe the amp or should i just replace the whole thing?

 

Does it still play? Sounds like it's shot to me. Never heard of that happening before. Do you know how to pull it out? There are two little bars on it, one on each side. You push them in with a small flat screwdriver and they pop out. Then you just grab them and pull the radio out. I would pull it out and see what's cooking.

 

yeah i pulled it out but it was dark and cold out so i didn't see much or fiddle around for long but as i said it won't emit any sound yet the power stays on. as in the display stay lit up but as i said i didn't fool around to see f the tape would work or am radio but my best guess was maybe i fuse in either the amp or the radio blew?
