Rear main seal next weekend. Any tips or advice?
On my 1996 850 na 10v (b5252s engine 4 speed automatic) I intend to drop the subframe and pull the transmission out to replace my rear main seal next weekend, as it has likely failed due to my pcv being neglected. I had a small oil leak leaving a drop or two every couple of days, but suddenly one day it just got worse and now i have to add oil every 150 kms. All the signs point to my RMS, and without the thousand dollars to cough up to a shop, i am going to tackle this myself. Ive read up loads on it and i have an engine lift and all the tools i need. What would you lovely folks suggest before i take on this beast?

Also, Volvo sells a tool (drift) to press in the rear main seal ( PN# 9997174) - kind of expensive and may be hard to source but worth reading up on.
