Default rear o2 sensor protective plate bolts

i have a 95 850 and i'm changing the rear o2 sensor. while loosing the bolts on the plate below the sensor the bolts went loose after one and a half turns. how can i remove them and then tighten them? the wire to the sensor is under the plate. it seems like the nuts were welded down and the weld broke. can i reach the nuts from under the rug in front of the seat? any help would be great!!!

I really do not understand what you are asking but here are my instructions for replacing an o2 sensor:

I am assuming he is. Sorry dude but it's die-grinder time!! Get in there with a cut-off wheel and take the head of the stripped/seized bolt off. Worst case you could leave that plate off but wouldn't recommend it.

thanks for the reply. those are the bolts. two came out and i figured out to cut one of the other two and spin the plate out of the way. two days of pb blaster and the sensor is out with an open end wrench. just have to clear the code now.thanks again!

I usually just cut the wire and put a box end on it when taking them off.
