Question Rear Spring seat is loose?

The Rear Spring seat is loose at the bottom of my 850 wagon. How do you tighten the thing up? The bolt is spinning inside the bottom seat and I can't seem to figure out how to hold it in place while tightening up the nut up.
Any ideas?

Take it out then weld the bolt into the seat. Put it back in, tighten it up(wont spin now)...away you go.

What if I just rip the crap bolt out & put one in from an Audi which has a hex head and just bolt it in the way it should have been engineered.

Give it a shot, you have nothing to loose.

Wow, I sense a little frustration there. Just trying to help. I replaced my rear springs and ran into the same problem. The bolt would spin because the metal had stretched so the splines on the bolt would no longer hold. I have a mig welder and just pulled it back out and spotted it in two places...just enough to hold it so it could be tightened.

In reality, any nut/bolt combination would work.

...now take a few deep breaths.....
