Default Rear Suspension Bushing removal from trailing arm

Well, I've done all the easy stuff - removing bolts...Now I'm trying to get the bushing assembly out of the trailing arm. I've tried hammering, heat, digging out the rubber, pipe wrenching,... but it refuses to come apart.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

put the one big bolt back into it (finger tight works, just enough to hold it). pb blaster the joint. give the trailing arm a nice wack.

Great idea that I looked forward to executing all day long, but unfortunately didn't work for me despite some very nice whacks. So I worked away at the rubber bushing part using red-hot screwdrivers to melt/chisel. I alternated with 2 screwdrivers - while using one, the other sat in the propane torch flame. Eventually I got it apart. Installing the new one was a small pain, too. I needed to increase the taper slightly to keep it from popping back out while being whacked back in.

This was one job that I'm glad is done and will avoid in the future if I can.
