Default Rim and tire replacement

Just joined the forum! Awesome info thanks. My question is what different tire and rim combos will fit on my 95 850?

I think they originally had 195/60/15's on them. We put 205/55/16's on my sons 850. To find out the recommended tire size based on wheel size the easiest way is to go to www.tirerack.com and use their wheel size thing. Also allows you to see different style wheels on the car.

17 and 18 inch rims will fit fine.

The original size is 205/50R16. I have 205/55R16 on my 850 now and they seem to rub when you make sharp turns. I am going to be swapping them back to the 205/50R16.

Width is the big thing to watch for. On my '94 205's rub on the front when turning and will rub on the rear fender when hitting a big bump. I'm saving my pennies for some 195/55R15's.
