good luck. The cooler air will be good but the track may not hook! Whats the temperature in the evenings where you are at?

 

It was 85 when I ran the 13.7. It should be in the 50s this Wednesday. Fingers crossed, I have a score to settle with myself.

 

Its time to fix the lovely curb impact so I spent the day with a heat gun and yanked the paint. Fingers are raw.

 

Passed smog yesterday, I had to make an OEM Conical exhaust mate up with an angled flange. I bought a flange from a member then cut and welded it onto the other pipe. It all went well and I used muriatic(sp) acid to make it rust to match the rest of the pipe. I passed with everything else on the car, the intake, RIP, IPD ECU, Aquamist,etc. I only had to change the exhaust. I will be saving this baby for some time.

Something I learned about California Smog, you cant just put any Cat on the car. Even though my cat was EPA compliant California certified it did not pass because it was not made for this car...what a waste of money that was.

 

Damn that seems like a lot of work just to pass a 15 minute emmisions check! CA. does suck! Do you have to do this every year?

Oh it's been 3 months since I last looked at this thread. Did you ever make it to the track with the methanol injection?
