what fits in that 3/4in square drive to relieve the tension on the belt? breaker bar won't get past module box. "special Volvo tool?"

 

3/4 inch breaker bar worked okay for me. If you have to, move the module box out of the way - it comes out relatively easy.

 

If not you can always use the pry-bar method, it has always worked for me..

 

I have some kind of plumbing fitting that went in there good for me. I use a pipe wrench to turn it so I can pin it.

 

Right on rspi, it's a 3/4 male plug npt x 3/4 square, available at HD in plumbing at a fraction of the cost of anything 3/4 drive. Or, a piece of 3/4 square stock one inch long, and a 3/4 open end. Thanks,( what a rookie.)
