99 V70XC Replacing alternator & serp belt

My alternator is dying a slow death. Does anyone have a step by step procedure for replacement? It appears thatI will have to move power steering pump out of the way.

Help!

That is correct move the PS pump then the Alt will be pretty easy to get to.

I replaced both the power steering pump and the alternator in my 2006 S60 in March (2001 and newer V70s and S60s have same engine and tranny) and I posted my lessons learned in the S60 forum under the Thread Serpentine Belt Tensioner Release at:
