Simple Brake Question
Hey all - I just finished replacing rear pads and rotors on my '94 850 Turbo Wagon, and while everything is in good working order, I noticed that I can hear a slight sound from each wheel when I drive slowly. The sound is a very slight friction sound, a whispering sort of "fsh fsh fsh" as the wheels turn. I can't feel it in the pedal; I can just hear it with the windows open.
I guess what I'm wondering is...is this enough reason to take everything back off, triple-check everything, maybe sand the hub? Or should I just bed the brakes and go on with it?

Did you have the rotors turned? Even brand new rotors can have some warp to them straight from the shelf. They recommend you turn them when they are new. It is not uncommon to have noise from the rotors. The pads are in constant contact with the rotors and will make noise.
Another option is the surface that the rotors mate with where dirty with rust or dirt. If the rotor did not sit flat it will give this same symptom.
