HI everyone

Just replaced head gasket on my 95 850 turbo. The head was mashined, no visible cracks on head and block. I started the car and the white smoke (coolant burning) is coming out of tail pipe. I didnt do the head pressure test.
Obviously the head or block has a crack. or something else????

My question is - what is probability that head cracked VS block cracked???

 

I do not have an answer for the VS but my 850 smokes a little grey when started cold. I also get the smoke out of the dip stick when it is warm. I'm about to replace the PVC system. Hopefully that will fix both for me.

 

You can try chemical gasket and see if it works. If so, then you need to redo it. Otherwise, mayby PCV system.

 

How long did you let it run...could just be leftovers.
