Smoky dipstick?
My cousin bought a 1995 850t with 132k, I observed that it had the infamous smokey dipstick and breather. I throughly cleaned the oil seperator box by remvoing it, soaking it in gas for an hour, then running presurized water through all the outlets and inlets to make sure it flowed good. I also cleaned all the hoses and the PTC valve. Even after all this it stills smokes from the breather and dipstick.
I assumed that the smoking was casued by blowby; an old worn out engine. I did a compressin test and got 120, 120, 120, 120, 115. Not bad at all for an old motor. The plugs also looked fine greyish brown
The car runs great. Any ideas?

Change the parts. Usually 1 line is clogged causing the smoke. You also need to make sure you clean out the ports on the block, etc.
Did you do the compression test with the motor warm? How about a wet test? The numbers are pretty even but should be between 156 - 185. 135,000 Miles is nothing for that motor. I have over 200,000 on mine, some get as much as 500,000.
