Default soft brake pedal.

I've got a 94 turbo wagon w/ a soft brake pedal.I've bleed the brakes twice. There is no leaks,I'm guessing master cylinder?

I would say that as well. They are not common to go bad either.

Did you bleed the system using a pressure bleeder, or did you use the old two-man pump the brake pedal and bleed method?

Frankly I almost never get the latter method to work on modern cars with ABS modules; I got myself a cheap pressure bleeder and haven't had a problem bleeding brakes since.

Did you have the brake hydraulics open for some other repair recently? In other words, did something cause the soft pedal in the first place? Or did it just appear on its own?

I agree with the pressure bleeder. They are nice to have/use
