Default Someone Please, make the oil leak stop!

I cant stop it, it keep dripping. Oil from the oil pan seal and out of the dip stick now. I have replaced the pan seal (chem gasket) and all of the PCV stuff (unit and lines). I am still leaking. What could it be? There has got to be pressure in the crank case that cant get out but why? Everythings new..

topped off the reservoir(sp) and forgot to put the cap back on. Drove on the freeway. No indicators at all, nothing, temp showed fine but all of a sudden all the dash lights started coming on and off, flashing randomly. I turned off the A/c and it seemed to stop. Got off the freeway and drove about one mile and it died at a light. Very difficult to start but got it going. A bit of smoke came from under the hood. I pulled off the road to a side street and it died again. Now a lot of smoke from under the hood. Shut the car off...well actually it died. Rerservoir(sp) was empty and bubbling steam. Steam coming from the oil fill cap and dip stick. Oil was not milky but looked and moved like it was thinned. Eventually got the engine started and began to add water from a helpful bystander. It just boiled out. Engine was blazing hot. Let it sit for a couple hours then added water and started it. Missing now and if I cap the reservoir(sp) it pressurizes. Appears I have a blown head gasket, cracked block or cracked head. Dont know yet but car was towed home and in the driveway. Sad day in my home and the wife is balistic over the simple mistake.

Another thing to add, after leaving the freeway the road was uphill. The car was acting odd and I noticed for a second the turbo was putting out 20psi...briefly, I backed off as soon as I saw it. Then I gave the pedal a little push and it jumped to 20 psi again so babied it from there. I am sure that helped the situation.

That's too bad. Sucks how a simple error can cause such a big problem.

Did you forget the engine oil cap or coolant cap? Wasn't really sure on that.

The other week I had noticed my coolant cap was cracked and needed to be replaced. I had pondered if I could drive the car without it just to get to autozone for a new one.

Decided to take a parents car and now I am glad I did.

You would think, and they may now I don't know, that cars would have a sensor for this as well. Surely the car would have known there was a problem but just didn't tell you.

Why didn't you try peeing in it? Hollywood says that works.
