Spark plug spanner size

I'm having a few issues removing the spark plugs out of my 1993 850 GLT 2.5 20v UK Spec

What size is the spark plug spanner is it equivelent to 14mm?

I believe if you have a tool set you can use a 5/8" socket with the rubber grommet inside of it so it suctions itself

5/8" socket is common in most tool boxes.

go buy a 5/8th spark plug socket at the local parts store.

spark plug spanner

Thanks for that now have to work out the metric for 5/8 inch, as I'm in the uk everything is done metric who only knows why. Returning from the local parts store the socket I need is 14mm

£2.75 good and cheap
