Hello! Great site!
We are looking at a 97 850 wagon. The wagon is in good shape with only 78k miles. When we test drove it there was a squeak/squeal when turning right, but only at speeds of approx 30mph or higher. The left axel boot was recently replaced, but not the right. Could this be the cause of the noise?

That is possible. It is also possible that if the left one was torn for a while and was dry it went bad.

Is it like a clicking or a squeeling?

 

It is squeak/squeal almost whistling sound. It gets louder the faster you are going, softer the slower. And only turning right. It is strange, I can't really even figure out where exactly it is coming from. Maybe through passenger air vent??? I don't know!
