stalling alot but starts right up
I have a volvo 850 and it is sounding like its running out of gas sometimes and sometimes that noise of running out of gas leads to stalling and immediately starts back up when I turn it on. I had a mechanic check the car and theres water in the oil and a possible blown head gasket. I need tips on why it could be stalling. He checked the codes and the air flow sensor and some other sensors popped up on the code reader. I dont know what is the problem. He said that it could be a blown head gasket. I need tips on what it could be

If there's really water in the oil, you are on borrowed time unless you are going to have the headgasket fixed. Sometimes people see milkshake on (top of) the dipstick, or on the oil cap and assume the headgasket is blown, it could just be a blocked up PCV or normal condensation. I would hope a mechanic would know better than that. If your oil is actually contaminated though, the headgasket is done and you need to stop driving it or risk serious damage.
If you have a mass air flow sensor code, then that is probably the biggest part of your stalling issue, it is either dirty or no good. You need to get all the codes and post them.

Another reason coolant can mix with the oil is if the radiator is bad allowing fluid transfer. A compression test would be your best bet. Also, if you drain your oil and all of the oil looks like chocolate milk shake you should stop driving the car immediately and figure out what you need to do.
