Default startup issue

Ive had my car for 2 months or so now and everythigns been just dandy. about a month ago i stopped by 7-11 and ran in real quick to grab some arizonas, when i came out i started my car fine, but the engine died after a second. i sat there and cranked the ****** for about 2-4 min until it finally started. i didnt suffer this prob again until about 2 days ago at the same goddamn 7-11. I ran in real quick, and the same thing happened. this happened again today too, but at another 7-11 lol.

When i was buying my original volvo, also a 95 850 glt, the shop owner backed outta the deal because he said the car was having startup issues. it would start 5/6 times he said, but every now and then would have alot of trouble. he ran diagnostics and everything buy couldnt find the problem. finally he replaced the starter and he said the problem stopped.

anyone else have this issue? im thinkin it could be the starter or my car just doesnt like 7-11 lol.

If the motor cranks then it is not the starter.

Next time it does it, check it for spark. I had this problem with my '98 S70 GLT, and after much wrangling and time, it turned out to be some bad wiring to the crank sensor

not to say that that's what's wrong with your car... a no- start can be caused by approximately 50,000 different things...

I had " hard start when warm " problem on 96 850 n/a and it was bad fuel pressure damper.
Also comon problem is fuel pump relay.
Report back with more details and we may help you.
