Stock stereo
I'm thinking about upgrading the stereo in my 850r, has anyone ran into issues replacing the deck or the speakers ? And where is the amp located ?
Another thing does the original deck have anywhere to plug in an aux for a 3.5mm jack. I don't really want to use a cassette adapter until i switch out the deck.

OEM deck has an input in the back for a changer, there is an iPod adapter made that plugs into that port if that is what you are looking for.
Replacement is extremely easy, just make sure you have all the required components... ie;
Harness adapter to connect the new unit (DO NOT I repeat DO NOT cut the factory harness!!)
Single din adapter if your going single din.
depending on what head unit you go with make sure you have a space for sat radio adapter, Bluetooth, nav, and such if your new head unit requires it..
Go to crutchfield.com and enter the Volvo info, it will show you all that fits.
If you order from them they give you all that you need for the install as well as instructions, and live FREE installation support.
