I am doing a oil sump seal kit on my 850 and am having some issues. I won't be able to get the sump pan off without dropping the sub frame. More than one person has told me this, and by looking at it, it does make sense. Is there a particular way to lower the sub frame without pulling it entirely off? Or is there a certain way to do it safely while I am under the damn thing? Thanks. Any other tips for the sump job would be sweet too. I read another post about it, but not too much in the sense of what I am running into.
