"tracs off"

"tracs off"
My "tracs off" light comes on more and more lately. sometimes it turns off and then the switch turns it off and on normally but usually it's on and switch does nothing. Is this an abs sensor issue? how do I test it etc? and since I haven't looked at how much they cost, will simply replacing the abs sensors fix this? Thanks!

Starting in MY 1996 volvo used an ABS module that had problems with broken solder joints inside the module (adjacent to large connector). You can DIY the repair or have it rebuilt for about $100.
Here's one place that will do it:

Let me know if you're interested in DIY instructions (have link somewhere); or you can google it; on Matthews site IIRC.

Looks like you have to sign up at Matt's now to see the attached pics in Lee's writeup; small price to pay i guess..
What I found on mine was broken solder joints near main large connector. Symptoms are the ABS/Tracs light comes on intermittently; i.e. disclaimer: you may have other ABS sensor issues, but given your MY, I would ck out this possibility too.
