trim removal?

how do i properly remove all the trim pieces of my car in order to restore the color? Also is there a way to "stain" the faded trim? thank you for the help...

Small trim piece on the front fender: Held in place by two plastic rivets. Punching out the rivets from the inside would be ideal but you can gently force/pry it from the outside but it would scratch the paint job.

Longer trim pieces on the doors are held by a number of plastic tabs, but only one Torx screw actually keeps it in place. The Torx screw is close to the aft edge of the door; try to find it, remove it and the trim should slide aft and should be removed.

Some people use heat gun/hair drier to restore the original colour of the trim pieces, whereas others use Kiwi Shoe Dye.

I did not remove any of mine, I just taped it off and redid it that way. So much easier then taking it off.
