Angry Trying to get rear shock off

I am trying to get my rear shock off. I got the top bolt fine, but the bottom is being very stubborn. The nut came off okay, but it is seized on the bolt/stud. I tried prying it, and smacking it with a sledge hammer. It will not budge.

Is there any trick to doing this?? I thought this would take like less than 10 min. to get off, but who knows how long it will take now.

This is 94 850 N/A with normal shocks, not the leveling kind.

Never mind. PB Blaster and a torch did the trick.

Did you jack up the suspension to compress the spring and get the tension off of it? I had a stripped nut on mine last week. Spent an hour under it with a die grinder, chisel and a 5 lb sledge hammer to get that bugger out. I should have known I was getting into trouble when I crawled under it and found the bump stops zip tied to the springs.
