Turbo 5 speed swap - wiring questions
For those of you who have done the swap, I need a little help. I know there's a ridiculous number of threads on it, but I'm getting lost in a sea of too much information to sort through. If it matters, the car is a '94, the trans is from a 95.
From what I can tell, I need to bypass the PNP switch so the car thinks it's in park, and will then start. I scrapped my old trans already, with the switch still on it. Even if I did have the switch though, I wouldn't want the thing hanging off the wiring loom in my engine bay, wrapped in a big ball of duct tape and zip ties. I'd like to cut off that whole big connector that went to the A/T and wrap up the wiring all nice and clean.
Can I do that? There's nothing in there I need except two wires I'd hook together to bypass the switch, right? Can somebody tell me which two wires I'm looking for? I don't have the wiring diagrams, unfortunately.
Any help appreciated

You need four(4) wires in that harness. The rest can go, be cut back or taped up. Some have taken the time to actually pull them out of the harness, I just cut them back at different lengths taping them as I went.
2 to allow it to start.
2 for the backup lights.
Skinnys are the backups. Fatties are not the start wires, this picture was taken when I was trying to figure out the reverse.
