Turbo flange fitment to IPD exhaust question
Hi, I'm new to volvos in general as well as these forums so sorry if these questions are a bit newby. So I've read about the different flanges between the 16t 18t k24 etc and my main question is the IPD says it's a straight flange exhaust; does that mean it will not fit a turbo with an angle flange?

yes the exhaust downpipe needs to match up to the turbo flange type. Volvos of different models use either a straight flange or the conical (pretty sure the 850T is a conical flange).
Some good discussions in past posts on the board - ie

i figured. Is it possible to change the flange on the turbo or is that fixed? Since the IPD has the straight flange and is a kit I'd prefer to change the turbo flange instead; my current is conical.
