Default Turbo pressure control?

It looks like my turbo is running up to 15lb of boost pressure. Obviously the factory system has failed so is there an after market controller for this or how hard is it to work on the factory system?

I'll do a search but does no one have any input?

Its actually very simple and cheap. My guess is that your bcs (boost control solenoid) has failed or the vac line going from the bcs to the wastegate on your turbo is leaking badly...the wastgate is the short cylinder looking thing with a rod sticking oit of it on the turbo. Theres two ways to fix this problem. 1) buy a new bcs and new vac lines or 2) buy a mbc (manual boost controller) and new vac lines. You can safetly run 10-12 lbs with a mbc without havi.g any problems, lots of people run 14psi but i wouldnt without a tune. Check out your vac lines that go to the turbo and bcs, by the way the bcs is mounted on the airbox towards the motor.

Great info and thank you all. Can I buy the turbo vac lines in those colors so it is easier to keep an eye on them?

Volvoguy23 do you have a parts list that goes with the factory image? I guess getting all the different colors is a little over the top. Does any one have an image of how the parts at the top of the front struts are arranged? Some one added an additional spacer nut on mine and I want to remove that and get it back the way it should be.

Update
I replaced the vac lines and, as per the diagram, I found the green and yellow lines reversed. Put them in the right order and everything works as it should now. Thanks for all the input on this.
