So the other night, I totally hit my turn signal lever on my 96 850 clumsily with my head while trying to pull the hood lever. I heard quitea crack, and now every time I use the left signal, the brights are illuminated. What the !@#$ happened? Anyone know anything about how to fix? Simple part to install, what? Thanks

 

Find a new or used one. Easy to install.

 

Can usually find them on ebay. Not very expensive.

 

Yep, I did something similar on an 82 Mustang, except they had the stupid feature pushing in the end of the turn signal stalk to blow the horn. Everytime I tired to use the brights, the horn would constantly blow.A new stalk fixed it.
