Vibration in steering wheel and throughout car

I've been having a problem with my 855 T5R wagon ever since i bought the car. Basically, above 40mph the steering wheel seems to vibrate a lot. As speed increases to 55-75, the vibration can be felt throughout the entire car. Its most noticeable on the highway.
It sounds and feels similar to when wheels are out of balance, but i don't think thats it as i just had my alignment done and wheels balanced yesterday. I was hoping that this would be the fix for it, but it really didn't improve the vibration at all.
When i did the suspension last week i replaced almost everything...struts, springs, spring seats, strut mounts, sway bar links, outer tie rods.
Anyone ever heard of this or something similar before?
